Il mio vestito nero

Testo originale:

As I looked into the mirror at my black dress, I heard my sister behind me.

“Black? Really?”

“It’s appropriate for the occasion.” Was my only reply. As soon as I said this, she sighed.

“Well, it’s better than mine. White is such a boring color!”

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. “Hey, hurry up!”

“It’s mom.” My sister didn’t reply to this.

My mom opened the door, wearing a dress almost identical to mine. “Father is already preparing the mass, let’s go.”

Downstairs, I picked up a bouquet of white roses from the table, not my sister’s favourite color or flower, but it will have to do.

My mom was already outside in the car. I heard her start the engine.

“Come on! You can’t be late for your own sister’s funeral!” my mom shouted, but I was sure that my sister wouldn’t mind.

Traduzione:

Appena osservai il mio vestito nero allo specchio, sentii mia sorella dietro di me.
“Nero?
All’improvviso, qualcuno bussò alla porta. “Ehi, sbrigati!”
Mamma era già fuori, in macchina. La sentii, mentre la accendeva.
“Forza!

I see a sea

I see over the sea, I see a buoyant great river which runs to infinity. I see it is crying, I see it is icing because of the cold rains. I see a wild wind, I see a terrible voice, crying and screaming, rowling and whispering. I see a great blue sea, crying for its history, I see it is as near as sad, maybe ‘cause the mirror is near my bed. Showing my eyes.
